We are at the peak of the crisis until a clear winner is apparent. I’m glad Trump was elected but the fights to come are what will determine our course, which is a binary choice. Some form of American Marxism as one option, pushed by neocons and extreme liberals for many decades, or a form of Democratic Republic with unique characteristics similar to our history, but shaped by the crucible of Civil War 2.0. All of this is placed on an economy on the precipice of collapse. Not encouraging.
